Anežka loves all horses, both real ones and Hobby Horses. She is also a successful figure skater and athlete. She has an open jumping style. She trains every day, and her results show it. How long have you been into Hobby Horses?
My mum bought me my first Hobby Horse 3 years ago. It came without a pole, so my uncle put a spade handle on it. It was really heavy. I still have it. It’s a dapple grey called Corin.
What are the advantages of Hobby Horses?
For me, Hobby Horses are a stand-in for a real horse. I can jump whenever I want and train anytime, anywhere 🐴. And that’s what I enjoy. I take my Hobby Horse with me everywhere. Thanks to Hobby Horses, I’ve also made new friends.
How high do you jump?
At my first competition in Mladá Boleslav in 2022, I jumped 127 cm. It was amazing. In one year, I improved by 9 cm, to 136 cm. That’s the Czech record.
What do the people around you think about it?
My friends cheer me on. Sometimes a few of them laugh at me too. But I don’t let it bother me. Thanks to Hobby Horses, I see things differently. I’m glad I get to go to competitions sometimes. I really enjoy them; there’s a great atmosphere there. It’s completely different from figure skating competitions. ⛸️
